OK, have tried to search, and there are just so many its hurting my poor pregnant brain, I want a sling, not one of the ones with clips and a million straps that are near impossible to put on yourself, I mean a fabric one, that a newborn can sort of lay across you in and breastfeed without the whole world seeing, then when baby is a bit older you can tie it a different way and the baby can face out or face you, and sit on your hip too............oh and nice bright colours?

Have had the ones with a million clips before and never got on with them, this is baby number 3 so would like to try something different, and maybe not even need a double pram all the time.............

I created a thread on slings recently and lots of people had some suggestions:

There is the New Native. I personally didn't get on with this but it is just a piece of fabric, no fastenings, that you can use for newborns and then for a bigger baby to sit on your hip or back etc. I have one in Large (I think) which I was thinking of selling, if you think it is what you want.

You want a ringsling - loads of positions, no tieing or clips, easy.

Try Bigmama slings for all sorts. I had an Ellaroo

Ring sling? Just has rings at the top you thread the fabric through. Can do hip carries with them, various other positions.
Try little possums for some bright colours.

If you are interested I have a black ring sling from freedom slings for £10 delivered. Only used for a bit when dd3 was small.

I got the moby wrapfrom sasa slings, it arrived the day after I ordered it and they were really helpful on the phone. It is by far the best sling I have ever had, and is an absolute doddle to use. You can put it on and slip the baby in and out without having to re-tie, however, retying it is really easy anyway. I'm also on dc3, and ion the past I've tried a wilkinet, a baby bjorn, and a ring sling, and nothing even comes close. I can actually walk along whilst feeding ds with this one without anyobne noticing.
I liked the big mama slings website to help me chose one, but the service wasn't up to much as they all seemed to be on maternity leave when I wanted to buy mine. I chose the moby one because I like the colour (of the organic one) but I think that the fabric wrap ones are much of a muchness, although I would say that you really need to get jersey fabric.
Good luck.

For breastfeeding I loved my Bara Barn ring Sling that I got from Baby Bean - www.baby-bean.comI notice she's out of stock at the moment, but due back in soon, so worth asking how soon, she's really nice and friendly, I 'know' her on another forum. the Bara Barn comes in gorgeous colours and once you've got the hang of it is very easy to use and great for feeding in discreetly, as you can use the 'tail' bit for an extra cover if you need to.
