Anyone got a Ford Puma - can you get car seats in the back of it?

Am thinking about a Ford Puma - have DS (5) and DD (3) and no need for buggies any more .

Do I have an unrealistic vision of a small car?

And if I do what other small cars might be nice?

Thank you

They won't have much leg room.

We got rid of our old Puma a few months ago, and I loved it dearly, but it wasn't great for children (2nd car for us so they only went in it once in a while). The leg room was fine if I was driving - short arse so seat as far forward as it could go. If dh was driving (6 ft tall) there was no leg room at all behind the drivers seat. Ds1, then 2yo (and a small 2yo) couldn't fit behind dh.

For the same sort of driving experience I'd go for a Mazda 2 or 3, Mazda RX8, or a Ford Fiesta.

To answer your original though, yes, car seats fit well - the rear seatbelts are really long.

Thank you - I am 5 foot 4 and have the seat medium far backish so I can see the problem that could happen.

Thanks for the other suggestions as well
