I would buy a maclaren - M&P are shite - their products and their customer service - really I would steer well clear of them.

For what age child? What do you want buggy to do? For car, walking, country??

Some bargain Herbie's on eBay cropping up all the time.

love the herbie, so nice, Skate wont last too long imo

I like the look of the Herbie but have to say for the money M&P are a bit crap with customer service (unless you buy from them), but then so are Mothercare tbh.
Buy it on your credit card and then they will fight your battles for you if required.

The Herbie has awful reviews online, I'd go for the Skate.

I have the Skate for my 15 month DD and it's lovely. I wouldn't buy brand new though, too expensive and don't hold their value that well.

Thanks for your comments. Ds is 10mths but we will use it alot and he still has naps during the day so wanted something comfortable for him. Skate is on offer at the mo at £399 (instead of £550) so I may go for that one. Will be used for walks and out in the car equally but not country walks iyswim.
Like the suggestion re credit card.
