Those Wi-fi doorbells

Do they ever work?

Or is it just me and my house? The first one stopped working so bought another assuming that there was something wrong with it. And now the second one has stopped working.

Are they just crap? Should I just get an electrician in to put in a proper old fashioned electrical one in?

I've got one and it's been working fine for years, so I don't think they're always rubbish. I assume you've tried a new battery in the bell-push?

The only problem we had was at the start, when it rang when our neighbours had visitors, but we changed the channel and it's been fine ever since.

Ours has always been temperamental. We now have a large brass knocker on the front door. Just as good as a doorbell
