Any good bargains/recommendations for filling a playhouse in the garden with stuff?

Like a kitchen etc?
Don't want to spend too much as it won't get used in the winter I guess
What do people put in wendy houses to tempt the dcs to stay in the garden longer and not clamour to go back inside

little kitchen, (or even cheaper still/space saving a small child's table with an individual stove set, microwave and kettle) blanket to lie on, tea set, colouring books and pens, sand pit with buckets and spades and an parasol outside so they can have picnic with teddys and dolls/pretend to be at the beach, dress up clothes and accessories. for boys, toy cars, small balls to kick around, usually i have music on low in the garden.

could you get them to 'decorate' it using cardboard boxes and stuff? ie make the cooker/washing machine, put up posters etc? old duvets or blankets and cushions to make a nest for reading on comfortably? or take them to a junk shop to pick stuff out?

If you're not already a member, I'd recommend joining your local freecycle group and keeping your eyes peeled for toy house-y type things.

we got LOADS of toys from our local car boot sale for really cheap,they have lasted tears too,
my 2 (ds age 4 and dd age 3) love any sort of pretend stuff dolls/bears and tea party things

IKEA has really nice & very cheap tea sets and plates etc. in their toy section. Otherwise I'd say put an appeal on Freecycle, and comb Ebay.
