Are those big clunky rollerskates that extend any good?...

It's for a 3YO boys birthday I don't really know him that well and am skint, seen them in ASDA for a fiver, I know am a cheapskate, it's the ones that extend from small feet to larger.

Is that just a crap present I have no idea what the little boy likes... HELP

Any other suggestions would be good.

My DD's like their skates. Would need safety pads too though unless you know he has some.

I have no idea LOL, think they had them in asda too, not matching though.

I feel like a right stinge but party is tomorrow did'nt find out till yesterday and am totally skint so cheap as possible and fast!
