Just to warn you I have had a bad experience recently with a company called sobaby.co.uk. I ordered an item at the end of February and after a couple of weeks I emailed them to ask when it would arrive. No answer. I tried their phone and just got an answer machine every time. Eventually a month after ordering I received an email saying it is out of stock and they are refunding me. I checked my Paypal account and I haven't received a refund at all. I emailed them to complain a couple of days ago and had no response yet. Next stop will be Trading Standards I guess.
When I Googled them I discovered that I'm not the only one who has purchased items never received. Thankfully it wasn't a big purchase, but in my opinion there is something very dodgy going on with this company...

God, I was looking at ordering my mountain buggy from them. Thanks for warning.

Hello

I am in the mist of a purchase of a Bloom Lounger and have had some issues as it seems 99.9% of this trail has also had.

The blatant arrogance and disregard for customer service is alarming. As I am only 11 days into my ordeal I will wait a little longer until I put my plan into action.

I work for an Advertising company in West London, and through this have drafted up a viral campaign that will run in the local newspapers in Andover, and will also be leaflet dropped within a 10 mile radius of "159 Weyhill Road". The campaign will backed by a FaceBook group and a addition to my company twitter site with a dedicated link from all reviews on line (incl Mumsnet, trustpilot etc) plus live tweats. I will concentrate on SoBaby if this goes well then I will turn to "Big Immagination".

The "SoBaby SoBad" templates (PDF. Jpegs.PPT etc) will allow you to run in your local papers and create flyers for your"NCT" & "Birthmatters" groups. The content of the campaign is based on the facts that I have gathered and will be shown to Angela Gordon (owner SoBaby) before triggered on basis of fairness and response.

Of course this will have a trigger date and Angela Gordon (owner SoBaby) will be aware of this. No action will be taken until the trigger date has lapsed

In the mean time email me danielatmbeukdotnet for all templates

lets work together! that includes you Angela!

Daniel

Not Recommended!!

I ordered the Babystyle Oyster on the 20th February 2010. The stroller and carrycot were classed as being 'in stock' when I placed the order and the car seat would be 'back ordered'. Payment was taken immediately.

Over 5 weeks later, my order still hasn't been despatched and I still don't have a definite despatch date for my order. I've emailed them 6 times and sent 2 letters to them and have eventually got back to me and said that I should receive my order in 'mid April' Unforuntately I don't have any confidence in this happening and am totally fed up of their lack of reponses to my emails so I have cancelled my order. I've also notified my credit card company and raised a disputed payment claim - thought this would be a quicker way of getting my money back based my past experience on dealing with sobaby.

This is a really badly organised business so I wouldn't both dealing with them.

I would like to point out that the organic baby food company so-baby-co.uk has no connection whatsover with the SOBABY of Andover. They specialise in 100% organic baby meals and pride themselves on their customer service

Hi,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I placed anor der for a changing bag with Sobaby on the 17th July and have not received anything yet. I wish I had seen these reviews earlier. I have not been able to contact the company by phone and only receive automated email replies or ones telling me that the item will be in stock soon!

I will be contacting Consumer Direct and Trading Standards and issuing County Court proceedings tomorrow but just wanted to advise people not to deal with them.

They have gone out of business. Just been told by The Commercial Centre in Andover. They moved their, stayed a month and left. He said they went out of business and he had a month of parents visiting him wanting to know what had happened to their money and goods. I expect unless you used a credit card to order you have lost everything. Always use a credit card for internet ordering, the credit card company will refund you.

Visa debit should also honour refunds, it's on money saving expert and I heard it on radio 4s money box program.
