iv bought this for dc 2 its got the carry cot and pushchair bit but i dont know what carseat will fit it anyone know?

Maxi cosi cabrio.

I'm not 100% sure, but it could well be the MaxiCosi carseat. We had a Quinny Buzz - same manufacturer but different model and that was compatible with a Maxicosi.

Have you tried looking at the Quinny website?

I had that buggy (still have actually in attic) from 2001. The actual infant seat predates the MC Cabrio and was called Citi, although I expect the same adapters would work - do you have them already ?

i have got adapders that clip the carry cot in?

Yes think they are the same ones - the Citi was discontinued so you may need to check if the Cabrio will fit instead. Try phoning Dorel UK 01842 763 281 who distribute both brands in UK or email here.

i emailed them and it was the quinny carrier thats the carseat for it and was discontinued in 2004

Funny , my instructions for the adapters (which I didn't actually buy but is with all the other paperwork) definitely say for the Maxi Cosi Citi seat and Dreami carrycot(I bought our puschair in Europe). The Quinny and MC are made by the same company and were essentially the same seat, just branded differently !! I'd try them out on a Cabrio in a shop if I were you or there are a few Citis on ebay if you only want it for the pushchair rather than in the car. We used the pushchair seat with footmuff from birth, so no car seat or carrycot.

of course the fabric may not match , maybe that is what they meant ?

dunno well we want the carseat for when we go shopping ect to save taking the carrycot as its quite big!
ill keep looking ill find it eventually! unless you want to sell me your car seat!

We didn't have the car seat or Dreami, just the main pushchair. Honestly I bet a Cabrio will fit on those adapters, they still supply similar ones for the Buzz etc to fit the Dreami and the Cabrio on. I'd take the ones you have into somewhere like John Lewis and have a try.
