Can I use a car seat with just a lap-belt (on a coach)?

More specifically, I have two choices - a Britax First Class or a Maxi Cosi Priorifix. Have a nursery trip on Thursday and apparently the coaches don't have three point seat belts.

I can't see any evidence/info for either online that its either safe or a possibility, but wondered if anyone had used them and could tell me otherwise?

If not I'll take the car instead.

unless the car seat is designed to be fitted with just a lap belt then no you couldnt use it on the coach. It should specify in the instructions whether it needs a 3 point belt.

More info here

ok, have managed to find more info on both (actually says on the car seats - not specifically in the instructions) and the answer is as I suspected. No.
