We've just been on a pram shopping tip and think we've narrowed it down to these two. Anyone have any experience of either - positive and negative welcome.

Thanks!

Hi there, I have had the streety and the vigour 3, both are good in their own ways. I liked the air tyres in the vigour, easy to steer but it seemed quite rickety but this may be due to it being second hand, I dont know! The seat is also quite small and it was a bit heavy.
The streety was lighter but quite difficult to get up steps. The hood was lovely and covered dd really well from the sun. Also the seat was bigger and not a bucket type seat so a bit comfier. I sold them both and got and icandy cherry about a year ago, which I still use every day! Its much lighter than both, feels really smooth and sturdy to push and dd is still really comfy at 15 months.

thank you for your response - sounds like I found the right person to speak to!

Was the Vigour the 2009 model? I wonder if they've sorted out the issues you mention - ie if the seat is bigger. I wasn't able to compare the previous model and the newest one as the shop didnt' have them both, but on the 2009, the seat lies completely flat and seemed quite roomy.

I was looking at the cherry also, but am really after something that lies flat/can be used from birth without a carrycot, as we don't have the room to store two bits!

Thanks again!

i had a streety, the chassis is quite bee-esque but i got mine v.cheaply from ebay so a fraction of the cost even b/new. anyway i too found it heavy up cards and it felt a bit flimsy to me, it didn't last long! liked the fold on it, liked the hood and style of it too. but i would say i also preferred by icandy cherry!

the icandy cherry isn't suitable from birth tho unless you use the carrycot as its a bucket type seat,i nearly bought one of these but i ended up with a nurse hello which i loved as it ws much sturdier and better made IMO,

It was the older model of the vigour that I had, but it does sound as though they have fixed the niggles that I had with it! It is a lovely pram and I think it is more robust than the streety. Mine just squeaked and rattled a lot but like I say, it wasnt new. The nurse hello looks lovely, really sturdy. Theres also the bugaboo bee but they are v. expensive! The icandy carrycot isnt huge and folds up flat but this might be a problem for a bigger baby as I think the seat unit is supposed to be from 6 months. My dd was 5 months and ok though.
