Croc experts - what sizes to get?

Calling all croc experts, I want to get some Crocs for DDs 1 and 2 for the Summer as I think they will be fab, they are both skinny minnies with narrow feet so am going to go for Mary-Janes, wondering about the sizes.

DD1 is just going into a size 9, DD2 a siz8, do I just get 2 x sizes 8/9?

Am going to get them some Jibbitz as well as DD1 wanted the Sleeping Beauty ones but they are only available in Europe with £10 P&P.

With crocs, some people say to go a size smaller. You will prob be ok with 2 sizes 8/9.

This is really irrititating but crocs are manufactured in 5 or 6 different factories, the sizes come up different depending on what country they're made in. I'm not sure about the rest but I know that "made in China" come up a lot smaller than "made in Romania".

The country of manufacture is on the bottom of each shoe, so it might be a good idea to try some on in a shop to get a feel for the different sizes.

This might seems like stating the obvious but if you are looking to order them online they do tend be free p and p so you don't need to order all at once. Why not order one pair in 8/9 to start with (btw think this equates to a uk 7/8 anyway) and try those on both girls. Seems unlikely they won't fit at least one of them. Then you can order a second pair sizing up, down or the same as necessary.

This site has mary janes with free p and p and 25% off:

and lots of jibbitz for £1.50 including the 25% discount. There are disney ones inc tinkerbell but not sleeping beauty. I've ordered from them before and crocs came the next day.

Sleeping Beauty can be found on ebay for less than £10 though!

Sleeping Beauty £4.50 inc p and p

Thats interesting jennieflower, never new that. just about to replace my three ds' crocs and heard about sizing issues which i haven't as yet come across as they fitted the sizes that their feet actually were when i bought their last pairs. so will watch out for that, thanks!

Thanks mystery fairy thats what I will do, order one pair and see who they fit the best.
