differentEggD · 09/04/2009 19:48

here

Didn't have time to check Tesco as they are at the far end of town.
Brantano is in the same place as Matalan so i can look there at the same time.
Just wanted to check before going all the way to them! Quite a walk from the train station.

why don't you get their phone number and call the branch before going?

Tortoise · 09/04/2009 19:50

....no suggestions!

Just glad to see the term 'daps' on the interweb.

....a splendid Bristle/westcountry term if ever there was one!

Polgara2 · 10/04/2009 23:16

Yes they do, at least the one near me did on Thursday!

Tortoise · 11/04/2009 13:20

RetiredGoth When i moved to Somerset, when i was 8, i had no idea what Daps were when i was asked at school if i had any!

Tortoise · 11/04/2009 18:28

My DD was a 13 in clarks and in John Lewis plimsolls so I think they are reasonably true to size

goldrock · 11/04/2009 19:28

They are probably expensive but I saw some in M & S yesterday. I didn't see the price but made a mental note as I always got mine at Woolies as well.
