Hi Every1, Ive been mooching about here 4 ages and finally finding my net voice!!lol...Anyway my ziko herbie snapped in half 2day, and collapsed while dd was in it!!( yes i read the warnings about the pram on here but thought i knew better!) So thats well out the window, cant get it repaired or replaced as got it off evil bay! So any suggestions 4 my next buggy? I have a pretty tricky wish list tho!My dd is 10 months, really long 4 her age and I would still like a buggy that reclines quite far back 4 her 2 nap in. Im 5'9 so would prefer a high handle, erm.....It has 2 b easy 2 fold, trendy looking, reasonable size shopping basket and nice 2 push...oh and about £150!! At the mo Im looking at silver cross dazzle and the new m&p nuna???? Any thoughts or ideas much appreciated!! THANX!

The mothercare citilite for £90 lasted me and ds and later on dd for nearly 4 years
sometimes expensive + trendy doesn't always = longlasting and good value
hope that helps

Get a maclaren XT in grey,

they are doing a range of funky liners and comfort packs to jazz them up, some are lush.

I love mine

I'm just going to translate your post into English before sum1 tells you off

Oh calm down fgs.

If you've been lurking as long as you say you have then you'd know some people come onto threads with titles like yours just to tell you off for wwriting incoherently using text speak.

It was a heads up!!!

Nice to see you have a sense of humour though

GinaFjord · 08/04/2009 19:43

gah!!!

-writing-- incoherently!!

Disenchantegg3 · 08/04/2009 19:43

Retyping somebodys whole post for the purpose of ridiculing them is not 'funny'.

And very childish.

GinaFjord · 08/04/2009 19:43

I give up.

Retyping? I copied and pasted acksherly.

Disenchantegg3 · 08/04/2009 19:45

Annnnyway ...

they do a black XT too Molly which is nice, the handles are adjustable on both.

The quests have 'funkier' designs, like the new Quest Mod 'apples' one but not 100% that the handle adjust.

You could try one in mothercare?

Habbibu · 08/04/2009 19:47

molly - people tend not to like text speak on MN, mostly because half of us don't get it

Don't think Gina was taking the piss out of you - it is a nice place, just can be quite - robust.

I have no advice about buggies, I'm afraid! Good luck.

mollykitten · 08/04/2009 19:49

Thanks everyone...when I had my ds, Maclarens were a bit boring(grey, grey, grey etc), but Ive had a little nosey and theres some really nice colours now!! Whats with the lifetime warranty though? any catch?

OP posts:
GinaFjord · 08/04/2009 19:50

They have a lifetime warranty but it doesn't cover normal wear and tear. So only covers anything out of the ordinary that goes wrong.

mollykitten · 08/04/2009 19:56

Like the frame snapping in half as you get off the bus??? thats what happened to me today!! grrr mamas and papas!! should have listened!!!!

OP posts:
Disenchantegg3 · 08/04/2009 19:57

Yes warrenty would cover a snapping buggy

GinaFjord · 08/04/2009 19:58

Yes, like that.

M&P stuff is crap. I had two pushchairs from there (one old and freecycles and one brand new) and they both died in the same week after 7 months of use.

Keep meaning to get the newish one repaired but the Maclaren is so much easier I haven't bothered.

mollykitten · 08/04/2009 20:13

Right I think Im sold on a maclaren...I know its vain and they should be practical but I do like a pretty pram too!(hence the mistake in the first place ) Im deffo going to try out some maclarens tomorrow though

You may find Maclaren Quest too low. Handles are not adjustable. I'm tall and it's too low for me. I just bought a Baby Jogger City Mini instead and much prefer it. Handle very high (although still not adjustable), reclines further back than Quest, incredibly easy fold, excellent size hood for keeping out the sun. My DD is 2, very tall and still fits comfortably in it.

mollykitten · 08/04/2009 22:53

Thanks SweetApril...just googled it and found one in Argos for £65!!! bargain! Will try that out too!
