Baby door bouncers - another question

have just bought one of these 2nd hand but DD is not bouncing in it yet and I'm not sure I have set it at the correct height for her. Should her feet be able to be flat on floor or on tip-toes? Currently she is just dangling and spinning - she is happy enough for now but think she will get bored shortly if she can't start to bounce!

I put my DS so he is on tip-toes but i've no idea if this is correct or not. He seems to bounce more this way though!

My DD was on her toes, well almost flat footed but not quite.... but she hung and spun for weeks and weeks before she started bouncing and didnt really get bored - although wasn't in it for anylonger than 10mins at a time realy!

i thought their feet are meant to be flat on the floor?

She might never bounce. DD had one that I borrowed from a friend whose daughter is 13 months older. Friend's DD never bounced, neither did mine. I don't think either child actually got bored with dangling and spinning! Nothing wrong with the bouncer, just not their thing - my DD is now 5 though, and has been trampolining for two years!
