Our old desktop is on its last legs and DH would like to replace it with a laptop.

So what should we buy?

I am by no means an expert on these things but we have a Sony Vaio which has been great over the last 3.5 years since dp bought it for me! It is used daily, though largely for the internet!

I'd push up the budget a little and get this!

We have a Powerbook G4, they go for about £400 on ebay atm with a 15" screen (have been looking as thinking of getting another one to replace our older 2nd mac).
Does everything we need (largish d/base, accounts etc for work, plus web etc for home).
