bloody battery on the cordless phone keeps dying

its only a year or so old. We leave it on the charger every night but also follow the instructions to let the battery totally empty then fill up again on charger. Still this morning I took it off charger just before 10 and used it once then left it lying on the sofa now its battery is dead. It is supposed to have hours and hours of idle time and it just doesnt. I am so annoyed as the set up of my house is such that I really really need a cordless.

If you open the back the batteries may be the rechargeable type that you can buy. Mine takes two ordinary rechargeable triple A batteries that you can get from tesco etc.

I got a new cordless phone battery from www.watchbattery.co.uk, cost just over £5. They do all sorts. Arrived in a couple of days, too.
