anyone recommend a digital camera please

up to around £70/80

DH has one and it annoys me as when he presses the button it doesnt take the photo right that second...no good for taking a photo of the kids

any suggestions?

bumping cos I'm after one too.

I tend to look on somewhere like argos, and buy the one that has the biggest price reduction ie - reduced from £200 to £80, figuring that if it was £200 to start off with it must be good.. doesnt always work like

Fujifilm Finepix are fab!! I had mine for about 7 years before I lost it. It was simple to use, took great photos and had a number of manageable functions. No batteries, just plug into power supply to recharge!

Someone bought a Hitachi camera as a replacement and it is such a nightmare!!! Nowhere near as user friendly or hardy as my FUJI. Having another baby soon and we have decided to buy another Fuji rather rely on this camera we have!

Pop into Jessops or Currys and you can look at the spec!

love my canon Ixus - had 3 now - one was 4 years old but still worked ok, gave to my borther and brought a newer model, then DH went swimming with it on holiday so had to replace it!!

they are fab
