What's it like to push?

Lovely!! Lightweight, etc and lays back fully for sleeps etc

nappyaddict · 28/03/2009 19:15

Is it easy to steer? Do you have anything else to compare it to?

Yes am total buggy/ stroller addict! Found it longer lasting then Maclaren XT (twice the price) and Graco stroller (about the same price)(4 wheels)and M & P three wheelers.

It gets harder to steer when they get bigger but we did trips to USA etc with ours and it was fab.LO was 2:5 at the time and is a big boy.

The only one that has outdone and outlasted it is M & P freestyler etc but they take up the whole boot. It doesn't tip up too easliy either. (shopaholic talking)!

Is the XT or Pulse lighter to push?

BTW if you are a pramaholic you should come over to the shed

OMG pram heaven in the shed!!!

The XT was lighter and had more of a 'look' but after a while have had trouble with it. Bent chassis - took back - reparied and now handles like an old man with my LO in it! Pulse lasted for two years and gave away to someone else as still good..

Lighter to push? not a lot in it really.

can't believe you had probs with your xt thought they went on forever?? i love my macs. nearly bought a pulse last week, but went again for ANOTHER mac! (quest)

eddiejo · 28/03/2009 20:07

Ah the quest! wheels too small for me

nicolamumof3 · 28/03/2009 20:09

i've had five maclarens since xmas!!

are pulse same size as xt wheels?

Ceolas · 28/03/2009 20:12

I had a pulse very briefly. I didn't like the wheels as they are 'hollow' plastic. I found them very noisy and rattly. I have a silver cross pop now and much prefer the solid rubber wheels on it.

eddiejo · 28/03/2009 20:13

Yes roughly

Am totally jealous about that many Mac c grrrrr...

nicolamumof3 · 28/03/2009 20:15

yep a bit of maclaren addiction (and general pram one too!)

eddiejo · 28/03/2009 20:16

here here. Think I need another baby as my youngest is nearly three and walnt to walk!!

BeehiveBaby · 28/03/2009 20:18

Ah yes, that's it, it was rattlier rather than heavier to push than the XT.

nicolamumof3 · 28/03/2009 20:25

i don't mind rattly personally, i actually used to like the noise my zapp made...(drives most people nuts) only sold my xt to get a black xt which i then hated. gone back to quest as its easier one hand push for me (i've got 3yr old and 20m old)
