What colour Tripp Trapp?

I'm replacing my Tripp Trapp from when I was a nipper (only just conked out after more than 30 years). We still have the baby set in red we can use on the new one (bought this recently so it should all fit ok).

Should I buy another red highchair? Other colours I like are black, grey and yellow.

Kitchen is white walls, teak work tops, light grey doors, dark grey painted floor.

What would you choose?

What colour is your table? We went for Cherry with turquoise babyset, as it matched our (£90 Ikea) table and chairs.

So personally, I would go for wood/teak-y colour with the red. Or the grey if you like that one. Hmmm, red and grey. That would be nice.

I'm really liking that yellow! Mind you, have you seen it in RL? If it was me it would have to look exactly as it does in that link. Red and yellow would be very cheery especially on a dull grey day.

Table is this, chairs are these, so any of the colours would go really.

We have 2 sets of cushions - tales and blue stripes

Might need to see the colours in RL, you're right SweetApril. Ooh, am excited!

oohh like this thread!! dont know what colour to order ( i am a newby highchair owner) tempted to go with white but worried it will chip? any thoughts...
sorry to jump on thread.

i would go for red..

don't worry ickletickle, there's room on the broom

I have ruled out white as it will get filthy, no question. And might chip...

i have white, been using for 3 months and so far it's fine, not filthy at all.

Umlellala · 27/03/2009 21:20

oh now I think red and black, to go with your chairs. But really, yes, go and see them in rl. But applaud you for considering a bright colour

pasta sauce, blueberries, spinach, carrots, weetabix... all enemies of a white Tripp Trapp I fear...

babyOcho · 28/03/2009 21:22

your trip trapp is over 30 years old!!

DD has been using her Tripp Trapp for 18 months now, and it's fab. But we got it in white, and it has chipped in a couple of places which is disappointing. Looks lovely though with the baby rails in blue.
