we've just moved into a new hosue and the bathroom has a cream carpet -we can't afford to replace it at the moment but it has some dirty marks on it -(looks like dirty wet feet marks)

any one got any idea's what i can use to remove these to make it look more decent.

many thanks in advance.

Vanish Powershot (I think it's called) worked for us.

CHem Dry do a spot stain extinguisher that's fantastic for small marks (bought a bottle last time they did my carpets!)

It's what I use everytime ds either spews on the sofa or rubs malt loaf into the floor....

Yes - it's in a pink tin, and squirts out a foam.

We have one of the chem-dry cleaners from when the carpets were done professionally, and it is v.good. But recently someone spilled coffee (helped by our dogs tail) and I thought I had cleaned it. Noticed later a nasty stain had been left & tried the vanish - it all went (but now we have a cleaner spot!)

It was about £2-3 I think - in Sainsburys.
