do the covers of a 5 year old maclaren quest come off?

they do, well mine did. I think I looked online for instructions

The older models have them riveted on so you just have to wash it on the frame in situ. Does this one have notches on the bars at the side and on the edge of the seat that peak through button hole type slots in the seat cover? If it does the cover is one that comes off, just undo these bits and slide it off the top bars and slip the side harnesses out and it is ready for your washing machine. They are best washed inside a net bag or old pillowcase to prevent snagging.
