Chair Ideas Needed for 6mo

DS is 6mo and has outgrown his bouncer chair and is now too mobile to leave on the floor/in a beanbag unsupervised.

I need to leave him to go to the loo, get a drink etc.

Can anyone recommend a good chair/seat?

have you got a travel cot?
you could fill it with balls and use as a play pen?

No we haven't yet but that's one worth thinking about, thanks compo

what about a bumbo?
or one of those blow up play nests??

second the idea of a travel cot - perfect safe area to play in and even nap - I always recommend them!

we also had the fisherprice hop and pop,we used it loads and it was handy as it folded up,

Why cant you just lie him on the floor whilst you pop to the loo?? Surely if he is mobile then he is better off on the floor?

Yep, travel cot. And agree with Compo - those cheapo plastic balls like you get in a ball pit kept DD very entertained.

Travel cot, or just baby safe the whole floor area - most other solutions will last very little time at all.

(He can't be left alone on the floor because he moves around so much he has found his way half way down the hall before! He spends most of his awake time playing and exploring on the floor but when there is no one with him he really needs to be somewhere secure)
