Does anyone have the black pot slow cooker from Argos endorsed by AWT please?

It says the pot can't be washed in the dishwasher (I do the lid in there) and I am fed up of hand washing it. Any ideas if it will e okay or why it can't go in please?

Really? Hubby said it would crack.

I put it on the top rack - it has honestly been fine - but I agree that it looks like it could crack.

I figured that it was worth the risk - if I had to wash it in the sink I know I wouldn't use it!

It is a real pain hand washing it as it is very heavy (my arm is a bit weak at times.) Would it be okay on the bottom do the think?

Yes I have it, and yes it goes in the dishwasher!!

Had it for 3yrs now and used probably twice a week over winter months.

oh and we only have a table top dishwasher with one rack so i would say it would be ok on the bottom!

Is currently soaking from when I made rice oudding but will put it the dishwasher.

I always put the lid in but it actually states not to put the pot in so I have been handwashing it for ages.

Just wanted to say thanks again as it went in the DW, came out clean and in one piece.
