No it doesn't. Sorry

FiveGoMadInDorset · 20/03/2009 22:26

No

Do you mean the alarm clock? Useless ime. Ds just sets it to go off randomly (mostly middle of the night and he sleeps right through it). He did go through a phase of bringing it in to my bedroom to show me that the ears weren't up (and he should still be in bed!). It is better now ds can just go downstairs, make his own breakfast and put Cbeebies on!

We've got the ITNG one from argos. It's improved our days from 5.30am starts to 7am (in conjunction with reward charts). You do have to be strict and stick to your guns though.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 20/03/2009 22:27

Sorry we had the rabbit night light thing

AitchTwoOh · 20/03/2009 22:28

hi iwish. apart from teh gun sticking you sound like the kind of person i want on this thread.

We just use a timer switch on her lamp - much cheaper with same effect. It depends on how your child as to whether or not they will 'obey the light'
We have however now started sending dd2 (who's 1) crawling into dd2's bedroom at 6am 'to play' - we get an extra 10mins...

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 20/03/2009 22:31

The gun sticking thing isn't too hard if you keep the aim in mind - i.e. an extra hour in bed.

I don't think I'm a terribly stricy mum, but I do love my bed!

How old is your dd? Ds1 was about 2.5 when we got ours, I'm not sure it would have worked when he was much younger

AitchTwoOh · 20/03/2009 22:31

i do have a timer. that's something to consider, thanks. dd2 not crawling yet...
