My mum had a big jar when I was a baby.

She still had it about 5 years ago but I think it may have hit the bin.

That would make it over 40 and going strong.

2002 - baby stuff!

Blardy hell... now i'm wondering about Sudacreme. the pot in my bathroom is from DS's nappy days and he turns 18 this August!

This stuff just doesn't go off. Best befores are silly. I have a giant jar of Vaseline from when DS was a baby, and am planning to keep it at least as long as the above. seems to work to tame those eyebrows etc just as well.

"Best before" means it might not do everything it did 20 years ago, but it's not toxic. "USE BY" is quite different.

my mum still has most of a huge tub of vaseline she bought before I was born.
I'm 39 erm 22 next month
