Which buggies have a 'built in' buggy board type thing?

Some have a sort of step thingy on the back I think, but I'm not sure which.

Do you know?

they aren't really supposed to be used as buggy boards and it's not safe to do so because they aren't deep enough to take a childs full foot .
Mamas and Papas pliko is one I believe and silver cross 3d is another.

Jojay · 19/03/2009 16:39

So what are they there for?

the Pliko IS supposed to be used as a step for toddlers. At least the peg perego branded one is - which is the same company, made in the same factory

I have the M&P Pliko and apparently it has one but I haven't looked yet

SobranieCocktail · 19/03/2009 16:50

We have a pliko and it has a small step. It's been a godsend. that said I use it without the hood so whoever's on the back has a view.

LunarSea · 19/03/2009 16:50

Like this? I saw one of these the other day - looked good, but I don't know where you'd get one in the UK.

naomi83 · 19/03/2009 17:30

we have a pliko p3, and our very tall 2 year old just can't get the hang of standing on the step, it's too narrow for him, and nothing to hold on to

Jojay · 20/03/2009 09:11

It was along the lines of the Pliko type step I was thinking of, but that's interesting, Naomi83.

LunarSea - they look quite cool don't they? But I really wanted something I can detatch, or isn't too bulky as it's quite rare that DS1 wants to hop on.

Thanks everyone.

Some can't be used if the baby is in fully reclined position.
