Has anyone moved from BT to Virgin Media?

Did you save money or were there lots of hidden costs? Was it a hassle? Any views or experiences appreciated......

We have just moved from virgin to bt. The reason was to find more competitive broadband eventually when the bt contract runs out. When you're with virgin cable there is no one else you can sign up to.
We found virgin expensive and the bt broadband speed is just as good ( it was a reservation before we changed cos virgin is very quick). I don't think there were any hidden costs but it did seem expensive and they were always offering new customers deals and never anything for us!
