shd I get an exersaucer like leapfrog activity centre for 6mo DD?

ARe they considered to be a good or bad thing re: development?

bad. get her a large mat on the floor, and let her kick and roll to encourage crawling

Ours was fab, we had the leapfrog learn and groove. (Still got it in the loft!)

Didnt use it until DS was weightbearing, and then for only 10-15mins at a time 2 or 3 times a day.

Was long enough for me to hoover/put washing on/wash up etc.

Used along side tummy time/kick and play mat on the floor there is no reason for it to be a bad thing re development. DS walked at 11mnths and crawled from 7mnths.
