Avon Skin So Soft as Insect repellent??

Have heard a lot about this as an excellent repellent. We live in the Hebrides and therefore are plagued with migdes, and are planning a summer holiday to Canada where I beleive we will be plagued with mosquitos.
What I wanted to know was, which of the many lotions etc is the one? I just looked up the Avon site and there are loads of different products! And is is OK for children? Neither of mine have any problems with their skin, dd is 3yrs2months, ds is 14 months. Can they use it too? Not that they need it if course, as long as they are with me every biting insect withing 10 miles bites me and no-one else ever gets bitten as long as I am around!

I can't remember which one it is! It's whatever their original fragrence is - I think it's the woodland one but I can't be sure. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be suitable for children since (IIRC) it doesn't actually contain an insect repellant at all.

this is the biz...it relly des the job.its the woodland fresh dry oil body spray, just spray it on before you go out and take it with you and just spray every so often.im a big fan of the whole range but last year when my dp was being bitten on a weekly basis when football training i told him to spray some on his legs before he went and it stopped him being bitten,he was the only one not eaten alive by the midges!!!
oh plus he had really soft legs...lol

Hi susanmt - sorry this is rather late.... but if it's any help...we heard about SSS in Florida from several sources to deal with some nasty insects calle 'noseeums' ( yep - you feel them but you don't see'um!!) Thought we were being wound up but it seems not. Good luck!
