Anyone bought a good cheap (under £200) hybrid ladies bike recently?

If so, which one and where did you get it from?
I'm not really that fussy but would rather go with one that someone recommends and is happy with!

Have been looking on Evans website and everything under about £300 in the smaller frame sizes is out of stock....really annoying as I'd quite like to get it from them - 10% off on the site and I could take it back if needed to the shop if there was a problem. But how can everything be out of stock...argh!!

erm do you have a shop near you? Best recomnedations for makes would be Specialised, Trek and Ridgeback...... for that price probably their entry level models.... if you can get last years models you may get a better deal. Best to try and go into a shop as they will "fit" the bike to you- make sure it is the right frame size and shape for your size/ride poition. This will do much to help you attain a comfortable ride and prevent any strains/back ache. Any good bike shop should stock these makes. HTH

Thanks Hettie. Will do that. Am also checking out EBay for any bargains.
