Which sling would you recommend for wearing baby around the house an d getting stuff done rather than being stuck on the sofa!

A Moby stretchy sling or a ring sling like an Ellaroo (but not one with a closed tail)

I have a tots bots papoozle which is fab, it is stretchy like a wrap sling yet easy to get on and off and has a proper support belt.

Stretchy wrap pretied - put baby in and out as necessary. I found it the best for minimising the blind spot effect of not being able to see things directly in front of you.

Moby highly recommended.

Are Mobys complicated to tie?

Believe me, if I can, anyone can. I needed to follow the instructions for the first three ties, then could do it on my own.

I've got a Kari-Me which is very similar to the Moby.

Am tempted with a Moby - found a new one on ebay for £26.

hug a bub. Fab for newborns in and outside (tucked inside jacket!), and then for olders inside. Still use it for my 5 mo dd.
