baby vest extenders....do they exist?

dd growing like a weed. Some of her baby vests (the nice ones with posh collars) are now too short in the body but not too small elsewhere. Can you buy popper things to make them longer? I thought I had heard of such a thing but wondered if I'd imagined it.

They sell them through some of the catalogues (blooming marvellous? vertbaudet? jojomamanbebe?) have seen some on nappy websites too...

I also HATE that vests are dead hard to find for over 24 mths!!!!!

I never managed to find mothercare 2-3 year vests (although they say on the packs that they exist...) but Marks&Spencer do them.
