Hmmm IMO you're best off just baby proofing one room and putting a stair gate on the door if you need to live them for short periods of time. Sit in walkers, bouncers and activity stations are meant to be quite bad for their backs and legs. Push along walkers and toys they can pull up on are fine but i suspect your baby isn't at this stage yet? The theory is they shouldn't be bearing weight on their feet/legs until they can pull themselves up.

I had one of these hop n pop things here and it was great. I got it on e-bay and sold it on e-bay afterwards.

My DS loved the hop and pop like savoycabbage linked to. They had one at nursery.

May be worth checking out local toy library, these things are short lived and very expensive whilst with toy library you can just get rid when boredom sets in!

I had the baby einstein one for my little girl. She loved it but only for about four months before she got bored with it. Quite expensive but we got it from a second hand shop for £40 and sold it back to them four months later for £20.
