We love our Ikea Bekvam stool - very sturdy and solid, fab for reaching worktops and high places as I am short!

Also dd monopolises it to sit on at the table

Easy to paint too

I've got this one for ds (2.10) and it's really sturdy.

I was just coming on to say the same as Yurtgirl. Ideal because it has a step too.

SoupDragon · 14/03/2009 20:49

We've got the Bekvam too.

Yurtgirl · 14/03/2009 20:49

We three have all said the same one

Yes, has to be the Ikea one. Bloomin painful if you bang your shin on it though...

runnervt · 14/03/2009 20:52

xpost Yurtgirl - that's the one I've got too.

runnervt · 14/03/2009 20:54

I'm far too slow!!

merlin · 14/03/2009 21:00

Thanks ladies! I did look at that one in Ikea but thought that the bottom step seemed a bit narrow for them to stand on?

The bottom step is fine to stand on, if it is up near the worktop - as they hold/lean on worktop for support and sit on seat when they want a rest!

Fabulous value for less than £8
