Britax Adventurer and Kid seats

Can anyone please explain the difference between the Britax Adventurer and the Kid/Kid Plus (I know the Kid Plus has adjustable side bits for "wide" (Britax words not mine) children. Britax just said Kid is for the German market and the Adventureer is the British version (query why then are both being sold here?). Does that mean the Adventurer is a cheaper and less sturdy model? Thanks

thanks - wierd that Britax themselves could not tell me this - I suspected the German model was "better" the lady just did n't want to say it.
