My DD has a pair (gave in and let her have the ones with dolls in) brought them last sept. Still fit her now but the sole in one shoe has slipped and created a big lump on the inside. I have tried to tape it back in place but its slipped again. I knew they were a stupid gimic and waste of money. Has anyone else had this problem? Wont be getting her shoes from there again.

yes we took them back after a few days because of this. I don't think you can get any money back if they're 6 months old tho

yes twice - both times i took them back and got a replacement - the 2nd time i refused more dolly ones and got std shoes. they are pap!

I took these back afte a couple of days. They ARE a stupid gimmick - and very expensive.

Thank you, just wanted to know if I was the only one. I dont think I will be able to take them back now, no, but might try! What are STD shoes? There is a shoe shop I go to with DD2 now as dont use clarks for her and they do start rite etc shoes, will probably go there for her shoes now.

Yes - but it only took about a week in our case. Will not be buying them again. And the owner of the independent kids shoe shop near us tells me that she has had LOTS of parents tell her the same thing.

nappyzonehasastroppytoddler · 12/03/2009 20:25

standard - our first pair collapsed after 6 weeks and i just went ini and said had a few weeks but ni receipt - 2 nd time they were about 3 months old - said same and still got replacement. Pile of poo.....

npg1 · 13/03/2009 17:09

Am wondering, because she has had them several months and I take them back tomorrow, will they remeasure her and replace the shoes if she has gone up a size?

AAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

That's all I have to say on that.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 13/03/2009 17:39

I wouldn't expect any style of childrens shoes to last longer than 6 months. I think you would be incredibly cheeky to take them back and ask for them in the next size up.

npg1 · 13/03/2009 19:43

Yes I know it would be cheeky! I wouldnt want the same ones though as never buying the ones with dolls in them again and come to think of it never going back to clarks again, so maybe better I go to the independant shoe shop and get her a brand new pair!

Maybe they wouldnt collapse if the dolls werent taken out?

Why did they come up with such a STUPID idea?
