Old style double mountain buggy and carrycot- compatible?

I bought a double mountain buggy urban from here and have decided that I really do want a carrycot for it as the baby might be a bit exposed for August.

Does the carrycot go on the older style one? and what is this?

If so, anyone selling a blue one?

Anyone?

Im no MB expert but Im assuming the bracket is what you use to fix carrycot onto buggy. I think you would have to buy one if you don't have one or if the carrycot you buy doesn't come with one.

Im not 100% though, ive just got a MB bet never looked at carrycot bits.

It also seems the carrycots are different depending on whether its a single or double buggy.

So a carrycot made for a double would not fit yours.

Yay, an answer! Do I need the bracket I have linked to above? Think we've spoken about this before?

The older style carrycot should come with a bracket but the newer one which i used doesn't need one. The carrycot has grooves which the fram clips into and then 2 clips to secure. With the older frame i could only 1 clip but it was perfectly safe.
