washable boots own ones are fab smooth so not as bad as shining through and wash up brilliantly

have fed 3 babies and these are the best ones yet, of course discovered this time, the last baby

MrsFogi · 11/03/2009 20:57

Tomee Tippee are the only ones that don't make you look like you have flying saucers in your bra.

Jojay · 11/03/2009 20:58

Tomme tippee ones the best IME.

They're thin so they don't show under clothes yet hold a lot before they leak. Comfy too.

They were half price in Tesco's last week, i bought loads!

The washable ones I have (Boots) are rubbish. I leak through them in no time and they're bulky

TooMuchTV · 11/03/2009 21:05

I like the boots ones as they wash really well but I agree that they can soak through if you leak a lot - I used some disposables in the early days until my supply settled down - now they are fine.

kidcreoleandthecoconuts · 11/03/2009 21:10

Tommee Tippee are the best as they're flat and thin. I used them until recently. Now I use cheapo tesco ones but I dont leak much anymore so they do and are half the price of TT ones.

Jojay · 11/03/2009 21:11

I do leak a lot - more than most people I think, so maybe the Boots ones aren't so bad......

Beantin · 12/03/2009 07:07

I like washable ones- I got mine in toysr us and cant remember the brand. Avent one ok- comfy, but can show through clothing.
Of disposables- again avent v comfy, but can show.
The really thins ones are great as they don't show (boots' own are great) but they itch me, as they're quite plasticky.
Never seen tommee tippee ones!
I am leaking a lot atm, and the ultra thin ones aren't enough for me...

RipMacWinkle · 12/03/2009 07:19

I liked the Johnson's ones (in a pink box) - very soft and non-crunchy.

However, i have to admmit I didn't try these Tommee Tippee ones. Something to bear in mind when I finally manage to get pg again.

EachPeachPearMum · 12/03/2009 07:38

Should have said- I think visibility will have a lot to do with norkage... mine a quite large atm.

Yes- I used johnsons last time, were nice and comfy

I liked the J and J ones, they held loads and didn't show through your clothes. I tried the TT and liked them but I found they leaked. I bought some Boots own ones that were really quite thick and were great but showed terrible. Bought some mothercare ones and they were awful.

I think I wore a black top to work almost everyday for the first year as I was so paranoid about them showing!!

I tried washable ones but they weren't for me.

Bucharest · 12/03/2009 08:39

Washable avent.

Legoleia · 12/03/2009 08:47

Oh gosh, please let me advise you to wash your washable pads in the bag that comes with them.

Otherwise the engineer will have to fish about 6 mouldy ones out of your broken washing machine, and you will need to explain what they are.

Legoleia · 12/03/2009 08:48
Blush
katiepotatie · 12/03/2009 08:51

Tomee Tipoee here too, they are fab, although a bit pricey, boots slimline are a good alternative and half the price.

KingRolo · 12/03/2009 08:53

Johnson and Johnsons are the best I have used; soft, smooth and not too visible under my clothes. They hold a lot too so through they are more expensive than some, they last longer. They have nice little dimples for our nipples to sit in too!

The worst are Sainsbury's own brand. They are crunchy and gave me a rash after a couple of hours!
