looking to get one for DD2 to help her sleep in the car but want to check how portable it will be, as we often get taxi's and need to use it in them.

think it fits all - call maxi cosi and they will tell you - I think I recall the woman telling me it fits all cars

we have this seat in our fiesta

its fairly easy to move it, lightweight

also at the top of the list safety wise

it reclines a bit but you need to recline it before you strap the child in

i think its designed for most cars, as you just use the seatbelt across the seat as normal

hope this helps

We've just bought one this week for ds1. We have a VW Passatt. I bartered with our local shop to get it cheaper! Did you get it for a good price?

katz · 12/03/2009 14:59

paid 69.99 for one, which seemed good price as they were £10 more in most places.

Was that with kiddicare?

I got ours for £79.99. They wouldn't price match kiddicare as it was a discontinued colour (even though I don't particularly care what colour it is!).

katz · 13/03/2009 09:47

yep - arrived this morning, its the blue colour which has been discontinued. I was happy to pay 79.99 which is what our local independent baby place has them form but was more happy with 69.99!!

we have just bought one for our VW passat. Got the tango red from Kiddicare. Do your XRs have a slight gap between the material arm rest and plastic (where the belt goes through)? I emailed Kiddicare about this and they said it was normal. My DD is very excited about her new seat.
