Ours were from Wilkinsons, I think

pixiefish · 17/04/2005 15:49

Asda had them the last time I was in

JoolsToo · 17/04/2005 15:51

pixiefish · 17/04/2005 15:53

I bouht some in Instore as well- (if you haven't got them locally it's a cheapy shop that sells all sorts of clothes/storage/furniture-

Gobbledigook · 17/04/2005 16:25

Yawn.

redsky · 17/04/2005 16:27

i'm sure i've seen them in hombase - but haven't been there in the last few weeks.

JanH · 17/04/2005 16:36

Lawsons (v useful site) have the Addis ones online for £4.29. You can get cheaper ones but IME they are less robust.

jampots · 17/04/2005 16:41

Im sure our local discount type store does things like that

JoolsToo · 17/04/2005 16:54

Thanks Jan - I do want something that is going to be strongish - it's for the boot of the car and will be having muddy walking boots chucked into it regularly!

Also want to use one as a washing basket that I can fold and put away (only 2 of us now so don't need a huge one) - not much room in the new gaff

I will check to see if I can get Addis in the stores - if not I'll use this site.

Jools I know you are retired now but no need to go all boring about plastic boxes

Can you tell I'm bored? Analysing interviews of kids testing inhalers - yawn.

IKEA stock these, we have a few of them and use them for laundry. Can't remember how much they were but seem to think it was around £2. I think they only stock blue.

bossykate · 17/04/2005 22:13

i have a set of three of these - i got them from woolworths about 3 yrs ago. don't know how much help that will be!

JoolsToo · 23/05/2005 13:31

I got some from poundstretcher and some from lidl.

roisin · 23/05/2005 13:38

JT have you been to my town and not told me?

JoolsToo · 23/05/2005 14:04

roisin! as if!

the boring story is - we and our friends (across the road) hired a van to ship some unwanted furniture to our offsprings in Manchester so called at Wilkinsons (Stretford) and Ikea (Warrington) there's a lot more to that day than you'd want to hear - let's just call it the battle of the bed - nightmare!
