I've been using a Coorie fleece pouch sling since my baby was newborn and I like the look of the Kari-Me and Close slings but they look the same to me, does anyone know what the difference is (if any) please and if you can recommend one too. Thanks! .

Hello

am due to have baby no.3 in May and am looking at slings....

Those of you with a Close - is it hot in summer? Easy to put on? Easy to BF? I really want a comfy one for newborn-6 months (so I have hands free for other dc). I also want a sling that is quick and easy to put on.

Last baby I used a wilkenet - a bit of a phaff to get on and off and I found thin straps not great with bigger baby.

My DH would prefer we buy a more carrier type - like baby bjorn as he wouldn't be as keen on wearing a wrap style! Am wondering if a carrier style might be cooler for summer?

Have looked on ebay and it seems easy enough to sell second hand - either type.

Hi, I've been using a Coorie sling, but it was fine in winter as it was made from a thick fleece, you can buy microfleece ones too but I'm not sure how warm they will be in summer.

Have you seen the lifft sling, I saw it in the NCT catalogue, it looks great for a man too.

Oh, have you thought about Freedom slings, I've bought a cream one for the spring .

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy too .
