I want a rain coat for dd2 but one lined with fleece (or simalar). Like this but cheaper . I don't want to spend a fortune because it won't get worn a lot, its mainly for our holiday if we get rainy days.

This is pretty, and lined in fleece. How old is she?

She's 3, was looking to spend 10-15 pound (ish).

millets is where my friend gets hers for her dd. it's a pretty one, not 'outdoorsy' looking at all.

SOme nice ones at M&S

Marne · 09/03/2009 18:53

Oh, she would love the Charlie and Lola one from M&S .

I saw a bright pink In the Night Garden one in Asda (which she would love) but i couldn't bring myself to buy it .

Asda usually have a good selection of these. Think there is a ladybird one in ours.

I have a raincoat but it is a thin one I just use over a fleece. I have a peppa pig one and also have a brand new one from Next, sort of creamy with orange and greens skulls all over it if any good? It is brand new with tags 2-3 if just for a holiday??

Marne · 09/03/2009 20:00

What size is the Peppa Pig one? I could really do with a age 3-4 as dd2 is a bit on the chubby side .

No chance of the peppa pig one, dd would go beserk! Next clothes are very generous but the other coat is also 2-3 as dd was only 2 in Jan!!

Mothercare had lots in stock today.

Just popped into Primark for you to see if they had any.

there was a pale pink one with pretty floral print for £6

Pawslikepaddington · 10/03/2009 10:49

John Lewis do brilliant ones-dd still in hers from last year. However they are floral, not character ones.

Marne · 10/03/2009 14:31

Thanks missblythe ,I will have a look in primark when i'm in town on thursday, if they don't have any i will have to give in to the Night Garden one in Asda.

I'd go M&S as my dd has just been given a waterproof coat with fleece lining in jade green with spots. She loves it!
