Which fuel efficient car?

I'm thinking about changing from my rather thristy 2000 model 2.0 Saab to a somewhat smaller car which I'm hoping will be friendlier on the wallet at the petrol pump! I'm considering Citroen C3 but have been told it feels rather flimsy to drive which I'm sure I will find annoying given that the Saab feels so solid. Any ideas?

don't know how rich you are but the new BMW Bluemotion is the most fuel efficient car on the road.

Tis real pretty too.

Hi Laurie - assume you mean VW Polo Bluemotion. I might even be tempted by that one. How pretty is pretty? Is the interior nice too?
