Maclaren Techno XLR Softcot

Hi - baby number three due in May. We are going to get a new Maclaren Techno bacause my current one is on its last legs after having done a fantastic job for two kids. I noticed that the mothercare website has a new softcot listed, that you can use with the techno. Has anyone seen one/know where I can get one - I thought it could be a good investment for the first few months. Thanks!

Hi, pretty sure this is only to be used with the xlr - diff size and fixings so would just slide off the xt. The silver cross dazzle is very similar but the carrycot is very plasticky to put a newborn in it.

I've not long bought the new black xt and it is fab (but obs not parent facing)!!

the carrycot is for xlr only im sure? the xlr does have a noticeably wider seat, which you can also use as a travel system with recaro seat.

I am looking for a Maclaren soft cot too - got the XLR buggy & waiting for the Recaro car seat to be delivered...haven't been able to find anywhere that has the softcot in stock though...1st baby due in 7 weeks time! :0

Thanks all - yeah, sorry I should have said I mean to get the XLR. The XT is what we have now, and it is great - but I thought I'd go for broke and get the XLR this time. Won't get the car seat I don't think but I like the extra padding you get and the wider seat. The softcot looks like it could be really cosy for the first few months - would love to hear if any of you find somewhere with it in stock!

The only thing I could find on the web is that it is supposed to be due out in Spring, so hopefully soon!
