Try John Lewis - their stuff is lovely!

I had White Co flat sheets (in the sale) and blankets for ds' cot bed but only when I'd taken the sides off. When it still had the sides on I used a quilt from Dunelm and various other blankets that I'd collected along the way!!

Ds had a gorgeous white and embroidered set from White Company (spacemen) which was horribly expensive, and a cheap though very lovely set (green, blue and yellow checks) from Ikea. Both sets washed well and were 100% cotton.

White Company are gorgeous. Soft and nice to the skin, too - you spend an awful lot of time in bed.

I found some lovely bedding in Zara home...gorgeous!

Ikea have some pretty sets too if you don't want to spend the earth!

john lewis website looks like they have 3 to choose from, plain white, blue or pink. and 24 quid a set! I would pay that for pretty oness but for plain it seems very pricey.

I couldn't find anything the right size on the ikea website. they had cot quits and singles. do they do anything inbetween? the cot size seemed too small.

the white rooms ones were quite pretty but 44 quid for a cover and a pillow case that is just ok.... and she is prone to throwing up in her sleep so I would need a spare set....

everything is so wishy washy. i'm after fusha pink and lime green not pastels and it doesn't seem to be out there

We use the Ikea ones on DS's toddler bed.
So cheap he has about 4 sets!!

I love izziwotnot babyooshka bedding but its a tad out of my price range

if your google izziwotnot though you'll see some suppliers/designs

Vertbaudet have some lovely cot bed duvets covers and pillowcases.

Plus you'll find discount offers for Vertbaudet in the Saving Money/Promotional Codes thread.

great little trading company do nice stuff as well but not cheap. And aspace - though i think in both cases it might be a bit pastelly

I got my son some lovely ones in TK Maxx. They were pretty similar to the White Company ones we have but only about £10 for the set and have lovely space theme on them.

somethingsticky · 12/03/2009 21:13

I hit the Jackpot with Vertbaudet! I got her a lovely lime green cover with a pink butterfly on it. can't wait for it to arrive

it was in the sale so I couldn't use the promo codes and it was still over 20 quid!! sso she is going to have to have a cheap spare from ikea for emergancies (if they are the same size....)

thanks for all your advice and tips xx
