Do your kids have a high sleeper?

I am thinking of getting ds1 a scallywag high sleeper bed which is 182cm in height.

Do you have a high sleeper for your dc, if so what is the height of your ceiling, I am not sure if our ceilings are too low.

Sorry if a really stupid question but just want to know what head clearance I will need.

I think the 182cm height is from the bottom
to the top rail

Thanks

I'd be worried about getting myself up there to change the duvet cover!!! I struggle enough on ds' mid-sleeper!!

mogs0 I know what you mean. DS has a mid-sleeper and my waters broke when I was struggling to change his bed!

Yikes!! My friend dc sleep in bunk beds and she just puts sleeping bags on instead of sheets and duvet to save climbing up to the top bunk!!!

thanks ladies. Just fancied one as ds1 is getting to the stage where he would like sleepovers and we could do with an extra bed in there for when my mum sleeps over.

Baby number 4 on way and we will need an extra bed as will not be able to move until the end of the year.

Both my DS's have a high sleeper and they love them. They are old enough to put the sheet on themselves though!

Height of DS2's floor to bottom of mattress 140cm,floor to highest point 6ft.

DS1's is 170cm high.
(Not exact measurments, these are the measurements from the Ebay listings i bought the beds from!)

Hi mine has a mid sleeper you can still get an extra bed underneath for sleep over but it is still easy to manage to change the duvet and isn't so far away from the floor he has the one from Ikea.

We have a semi-high sleeper. We also have high ceilings - ds1 can stand up on his bed and not have to bend over too much.

The semi high is fine with a bed under. My ds2 sleeps in the bed under with no problem.

I can't measure as they are asleep - sorry.
