Those notebooks with a space for a picture at the top and ruled at the bottom - what are they called?

I saw some kids with these notebooks - they were for writing stories, so the top half of the page was blank, for drawing a picture and the bottom half was ruled, for them to write the story. I'm trying to find them online but can't think what they're called to do a search. Anyone know?

not sure, but i tried to find some and it's really hard - could only find ones in packs of one million at a time . please tell me if you have any more luck!

Maybe we can share the million pack . What did you search for to come up with the big pack?

I searched for exercise books, and then looked at the options on each website until I found ones that looked like they had blank at the top of each page and lines at the bottom. I only found educational websites - I do have a friend who I'd share them with, but the postage is almost as much as the books themselves. I was kind of waiting to want to order more stuff, but it's frustrating that you can't just get them in Smiths!

I've thought about just making some myself, tbh, or finding a friendly primary school teacher who might nick me a couple

project notebooks, you can get them in bigger WH Smiths in A4 and A5 size with soft covers. Smiths in Bluewater had them before Christmas.

Ah brilliant, thanks! I can't find any online but I'll have a look next time I'm in a big WHSmith.

Wilkinsons have these (or at least, they did fairly recently)

Thanks babster. Not that close to a Wilkinsons but good to know for next time I'm in that area.
