I had thought of a book,as I've never seen him with one. Which books would you recommend?

Matchbox cars - you can't have too many. Or toy tractors, diggers, aeroplanes.

If it has wheels you can't go too far wrong.

If books - any of the Hairy M ones, Percy the Park Keeper series, Kipper's Year or A to Z, all favourites of ds1 (2.10) at that age.

The Gruffalo books were and still are a favourite in our house (DS is 3.5 now)
