Just got my SpaceKraft catalogue through & I am curious about the Bilibo they show in it.

Does anyone's child have this and if so do they enjoy it? DS is 2.6 & ASD.

dd at about 3 pretended to be a tortoise, that it was a hill to jump off, a boat, a spare doll's cot, a fairground ride..... all sorts

can get little ones now as well

pollywobbledoodle · 26/02/2009 14:08

oh and a water bucket in the summer

hereidrawtheline · 26/02/2009 16:24

we got one of them!

I bought it cos thought it waould help dd with her sitting balance / saving skills. She has disabilities and thought it would be fun way of doing some physio type stuff.

She also loves rough play. We spin her round in it whilst supporting her a bit. Does yr ds like that sort of thing?

ds loves it too

its great shoved in a rubber ring as a sledge - they use em in indorr show centres

they're only 15 quid as well (quite a bit cheaper than other special needs stuff)

Woooozle100 · 26/02/2009 16:36

snow not show

misdee · 26/02/2009 16:37

staryeyed · 26/02/2009 16:58

Ds has one and even though he has autism (severely lacking in imagination)he finds different ways to play with it.

hereidrawtheline · 26/02/2009 17:14

aww misdee tell her her future on MN is already assured!

I am glad they seem to be good! I will see if I can find one second hand as well I think.

We've got two and they're well loved!

Umlellala · 27/02/2009 09:11

We have one, it's pink (not by choice)
dd has enjoyed it since about 10mths and she is now nearly 3- climbing over, through, posting through the little holes, as a cot for baby, um... think it would be FAB too if you had a garden. Is currently under dd's bed - too many toys and haven't really got the space!

Could sell it to someone for a fiver, pick up from North London, or £10 delivered if interested

Umlellala is it the same size as the one I linked to & in fairly good nick? If so I will buy it from you for £10 to be delivered! I can paypal you the money. DS loves pink!

Umlellala · 27/02/2009 13:07

Yup, it's the big one they can sit in (I echo the spinny game as lots of fun ). You can buy them new for less that that catalogue though (think I got mine from Amazon for £15?).

Have checked and it's in great condition as it has only been used indoors. Email me on umlellala @ hotmail.com (not my usual email so let me know if you email me) or CAT me if you still want to buy it, can send Monday morning.

hereidrawtheline · 27/02/2009 13:12

I am emailing you now!

they're fab - we have 2. Has been used for all of the things listed above and more, we put some rope through the holes and used it to sledge in the snow. Our 6 year still uses hers and her friends like to play in them too.

hereidrawtheline · 27/02/2009 13:19

oooh then I am so excited I cant wait to get mine! umm... I mean DS's!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 27/02/2009 13:24

Damn, I'd have bought it from you! Oh well!

Homebird8 · 27/02/2009 13:26

We've just taken both of ours to the toddler group (at the insistance of DS2) and they've all had great fun playing with them. The mums really like them too!

katz · 27/02/2009 13:28

amazon's bilibo but you take a gamble on the colour.

hereidrawtheline · 27/02/2009 13:28

{{{evil cackling]]] hands off mustrunmore!
