Am not sure which one to get was thinking of the prammete or the luna with the carrycot, this would be for a newborn.Any advice on positive negatives on both, have to use public transport quite often so easy/small to fold would be good if any other suggestions, thanks.

Pliko is a good all rounder, lovely for newborn, great sun cover, very upright in sitting position and flexible strap for toddler, but heavy to lift, and gets very heavy to push with a toddler in. We have the peg perego p3 and carrycot (same as mamas and papas mpx) and having a separate carrycot is great to use as a moses basket at night. Also, it needs two hands to steer it. Luna looks lovely, bright colours and has one handle, but I've never owned one. I would "borrow" a toddler from a friend if you know one, and take them to the shop to try out the two.

I would say get the Pliko. I had a Luna for my newborn, and found that it was very top heavy. It toppled a few times when I had anything over the handle bar, like the pram bag. It is a very pretty pram, and would be great for an older child though.

Have you considered the graco cleo or mothercare nixi Both are considerably cheaper than the pliko pramette and look just as good imo.
